| Its now October 2007 and I was wondering when we can expect CMS Encore Pro to work under Windows Vista? |

Hi David,
We are still busy with the testing and development issues regarding Windows Vista.
Unfortunately since Vista has introduced so much issues and bugs in certain areas (things that were working fine in XP suddenly is broken or very slow in Vista) has caused many problems. Some places we might have to re-architect certain parts of Encore just to keep Vista happy.
So we are making progress, it is just unfortunately a slow & painful  process...
We will keep you posted once we have something ready.

Greetings to all CMS Encore users
It would be realy nice to have CMS Encore work on Windows Vista -- and now that Windows 7 is about to be released we should remain as current as possible. 
BTW, Windows 7 is Vista except that Windows 7 is Vista on steriods. 
Hello to the Encore Team -- I still have not mastered Encore scripting -- just do not have the time to learn and retain. We need lots of canned scripts that Encore users can use for lots of different circumstances. |

Actually it's definately our aim to have CMS Encore Pro working well with Windows 7, and as a side-effect it might then work well in Vista too
Windows 7 looks very promising from our tests so far, and far better in a number of areas compared to Vista, that made us stay away from Vista, as did many of our customers too.
If you have further scripting questions please email us or post here (if it might be beneficial to other users).
NOTE: Sometimes email gets stuck in our spam filters or if we might have missed them for some reason, so if you don't get a reply in a reasonable time please try again.
Unfortunately difficult to create 'canned' scripts for all occasions and for everyone's needs, therefore we tried to have Encore Scripting as powerful as possible that users can tailor scripts to their own needs easily, but if there is common scripting functionality that would be useful to others then sure we can look at it, and see if we can wrap it up nicely in an Encore component or maybe a new Encore scripting function.
If you have any suggestions of things / scripts you think might be useful to look into?
